This quantitative study utilizes a descriptive correlational methodology to examine the impact of social determinants of health and acculturation on quality of life in older (above 65) Chinese American adults with chronic pain.
Research questions:
1. Is there a difference in quality of life in older Chinese American adults with chronic pain by acculturation and social determinants of health?
2. Is there a relationship between acculturation, social determinants of health and quality of life in older Chinese American adults with chronic pain?
Need summaries of scholarly articles (peer reviewed) on research studies on the below variables and overall study (Synthesis of up-to-date research findings). Sources should be within the last 5 years. Exceptions can be for landmark/important research studies. The content of the review emerges from acceptable peer-reviewed journals or sound academic journals, or there is a justification for using other sources.
