Hello,

I am trying to schedule online for the fall and I was able to schedule online for 600 theory but I cannot find an option for 603 professional role development and ethical issues. If you could help me find this class and register for it that would be great!

I’m emailing you because this is the third time I’ve tried to email my advisor with it saying that the email in invalid. Is there another way I can contact my advisor so that I can be in contact with him before the semester.

Hello. I have a few questions about clinicals. I’m a little lost, when I applied to Walsh I was told clinical preceptors would be provided when I applied in 2016. This has recently changed (much to my dismay), which I have touched base with you on this subject earlier this year. Did I miss any preceptor information that may have been given to others who started the program later? What qualifications must a preceptor have? Do they need a certain amount of experience? I was told by you to google local providers? This seems very vague and somewhat of a crap shoot, not knowing who they are or if they are qualified to teach? What deems them eligible to be adult, peds, or women’s health? Does the preceptor have to be in an outpatient setting or can they work in a hospital and be inpatient? For peds do they need to be primary care or can they be peds specialty? Do you keep the same preceptors for the entire FNP clinical course? Can adult preceptors be specialty, such as inpatient cardiac care? Can peds be an inpatient NICU NP? I work in a hospital so my connections all seem to be inpatient and my goal is to be outpatient. Any help on your help would be greatly welcomed, resources or previous quality preceptors. I feel this process needs to be a little more organized and more info is needed, rather than “here’s a preceptor form” and google local providers. Maybe, I am missing something? Please clarify these questions along with any others that you deem important for me to know. Thank you.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXX
