For each “ethnic” group write a minimum of 2 paragraphs analyzing the business potential using the information found in your research for Part 1 and additional research necessary to complete your analysis.

African American

There is an increase in the potential African American businesses with the increased power and abilities to operate larger companies. More blacks are joining the field of entrepreneurship with about 40% of new businesses in the country comprising of new black entrepreneurs. However, the level of commitment among African Americans in businesses is relatively low. Most of them view businesses as “necessity-based” ventures. In particular, they venture into business as a last resort and are motivated by the need to earn a living. Most of the blacks have lower educational levels and limited opportunities to attract new opportunities. Engagement in businesses, therefore, is accredited into higher unemployment rates at approximately 8.2%. Moreover, blacks have comparatively lower rates of established businesses at 5%. The primary reason for such low rates is less access to financial facilities and less favoring business environments.
