  1. Describe the best negotiator or mediator you have observed or read about, and how that negotiator/ mediator exhibited negotiation and leadership skills.



  1. What does it take to be an effective negotiator and mediator, particularly in a leadership context like the White House? What factors do you consider most important, and why? Please illustrate with examples wherever possible.
