Life Experience and My Career
Without a doubt, my most significant experience has been working at a nursing home. There are many reasons for this such as the show unconditional love for people I do not know, endless sacrifices in the quest to make other people happy, using my internal strengths to make everything better, and getting profound wisdom from the elderly; these are a just a few attributes that have made the nursing home my most profound experience. Simply stated, working at the nursing home has taught me how to be caring to my patients.
Working at the nursing home has taught me how to have a caring and kind heart, which is a rare quality in this world we exist. It showed me that I have to take care of the underprivileged children in our neighborhood. Further, I have learned how to devote my love, warmth, and heart to people without any bias or favoritism. In the instance any of my patients get sick, this experience has taught me to shift heavens and earth to make sure they got excellent care and treatment during the whole period. Consequently, my empathy for the sick is admirable; I can go to the extent of preparing home remedies for the illness and dedicate my time to make sure patients are well attended to in every aspect. Indeed, the experience has demonstrated the advocacy that every medical professional should practice (Perry, 2009). It has given me a benchmark to practice with.
Lastly, the experience has shown me to offer a lending hand to the impoverished whenever I get the chance to do so. I will be a contributor and member to numerous charitable organizations that assist many individuals varying form the poor, the sick, the gender biased people, individuals suppressed by culture and society, among others. Further, I plan to a volunteer at community charity events and feel joy giving a helping hand at all times. I plan to commit this dedication throughout my whole career.
