Adoption of “Women’s” Language by Male Employees in the Retail industry

This research focuses on employing various techniques to ascertain the reasons why male attendants adopt women’s language when making their retail sales. Various illustrations are used in ascertaining the core reason for this habit in male attendants. Therefore, it is prudent to develop a hypothesis that is consistent with this topic and explains it. Hypothesis is categorized into two functional groups, with the first one being positive hypothesis while the second one refers to null hypothesis. Positive hypothesis is postulated as; Male Employees achieve benefits be adopting “Women” language when making sales. On the other hand, the null hypothesis will postulate a negative opinion to this assertion, and sates; Male Employees achieve no benefits by adopting “Women” language when making sales.  This research is intended in validating the constructs behind the positive hypothesis, while disapproving the variables highlighted under the null hypothesis.

Evaluation of both the null and positive hypotheses leads to the completion of the project.  In this context various measures are instigated toward ensuring the completion of the research process. With such measures intensified, the outcome of research is likely to be achieved. For instance, the topic under review evaluates how adoption of Women’s language by male attendants leads to increased sales. The basis of making analysis on this topic requires extensive definition into the factors that contributes to high sales as a result of adopting women’s language.  This is one strategic aspect that this research intends to capture in demonstrating the validity of the positive hypothesis. In addition, realization of positive hypothesis leads to a disproof to the null hypothesis.

            In order to conduct this research, various variables must be defined and this contributes to the effectiveness of the process. This takes us to the methodology section, which refers to various techniques employed in conducting the entire research. The first method of study involves survey interview to various audience. Here, male retailers and   female customer’s opinions are sought in order to validate various assertions.  The male attendants are interviewed with the view of extracting the purpose of using women language alongside sales, while female and  male customers have their opinions sought  in order to validate the impacts that women’s language have on their purchases trend. This is the general construction of the survey, with response recorded after every stage of interviews. The second method that is consistent with this study involves adoption of simple questionnaires for both the attendants and the clients.  Opinions obtained here are used to validate either of the hypotheses. Selection of participants forms a major basis in determining the overall sauces of the project. For instance, the participants in survey must be from a particular gender.  Having one gender at a time will, give a succinct description on how adopting women’s language influence in retails owned by male attendants.   On the other hand, respondents are selected based on their knowledge and frequency of interaction they have with the male retail attendants. This will enhance performance of the project, especially if responders are aware of this situation.

            In conclusion, methodology section bears a lot of responsibility in determining the effectiveness of the project. This is outlined in the manner in which the project is focused on a particular hypothesis. Therefore, having good grounds of methodology leads to the verification of variables, which approve a hypothesis.
