How Should Research Sources Be Evaluated?

The quality of any resource cited to support a research should be evaluated, analyzed to determine its reliability and credibility. Such a task is high recommended for sources obtained from internet and web, as opposed for already verified college libraries (Boucher 7).  This document seek to analyze the credibility and reliability of my research paper “Has globalization Gone Too Far?”

Rodrik, the author of “Has Globalization Gone Too Far?” is an accomplished global economist. The article is not update since it was published in (1997). The article’s factual information considered have been verified and can be correlated with other factual findings. Also the article is free of biasness and lacks impartial language. Consequently, it lacks the theme of advertisement. The material covers various issues pertaining globalization, and lacks biasness. Hence, based on the above facts the article can be rated as; Authority (1), Accuracy (1), Currency (0), Objectivity (1) and coverage (1).

The article, “Has globalization gone too far enough? The cost of fragmented market.” Was published by Scott, an accomplished economic and a professor at Brigham University. Also, uses data from purchasing power surveys to establish potential benefits from OECD integration. The article publication lack advertisement, uses moderate and authentic language. Also, it integrate factual findings with integrated data results and information is peer reviewed and published in the university press. It is out of date, but exhaustively covers information under consideration. Hence, the article is rated as; Authority (1), Accuracy (1), Objectivity (1), currency (1), and coverage (1)

Tarter, Steve. “Has globalization gone too far?” 2006. The author of the article is an activists covering news on business journals and articles. His article lacks clear publication and clear topic synthesize. Consequently, his material are full of advertisments thus clearly implying hidden agendas, however, the article lacks language biasness. The material lacks clear thesis and supporting factual information. However, the article is frequently updated with the last update being 2012. Hence, rating the material: Authority (N/A), Accuracy (0), Objectivity (0), Currency (1) and coverage (1).
